Green tea may help fight Sjogren's Syndrome!

Researchers have recently found out that drinking green tea may help prevent Sjogren's Syndrome, an auto-immune disease that causes dry mouth and dry eyes. The disease attacks tear and saliva glands.
Animals treated with a green tea extract show lower levels of auto-antibodies, proteins produced when the immune systems attacks itself.

The study finds significant improvement after about three weeks.
Now they hope green tea will help other auto-immune diseases like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.
